SHIPPING

Our goal is to ship your fruits within 3 working days of receiving payment. However, please note that this timeline is not always guaranteed, as delays in overseas shipments to us may occur. Once your order is shipped, it's sent via a next-day service, with delivery expected between 08:00 and 17:00. Upon dispatch, you will receive an email containing the consignment number to track your order.


SHIPPING DESTINATIONS

Our products are available for delivery to any address within the UK. Certain remote regions, primarily in Scotland, may require an additional 2 days for delivery. If you believe your parcel needs to be delivered to a remote area, please reach out to us for confirmation.


ROYAL MAIL SERVICE

For many of our orders, we utilise Royal Mail tracked 24-hour delivery service. Renowned for its reliability, Royal Mail also stands out as the greenest delivery choice in the UK. With over two-thirds of its post being delivered on foot, involving approximately 1 billion steps per day, Royal Mail boasts the lowest carbon footprint per parcel among British courier companies. Publicly available data reveals that Royal Mail's emissions are nearly 50% lower than those of its counterparts.

In our commitment to environmental sustainability, we continuously seek out the most eco-friendly options for all aspects of our operations. Recognizing the growing trend towards ethical consumerism, we opt for Royal Mail as it aligns with our goal of reducing, rather than offsetting, our emissions.


RETURN POLICY

Our packing team diligently quality-checks all items before they leave our warehouse. However, delays caused by courier issues may lead to spoilage of the fruit. Additionally, during transit, parcels may occasionally be dropped or knocked, resulting in bruised or damaged fruits. If you receive inedible or damaged fruit, please email a photo of the affected item within 24 hours of receiving your order to info@soursoply.co.uk. Claims must be made within this time frame for consideration. Any damage reported beyond 24 hours may hinder our ability to recover losses from our suppliers or the courier, potentially affecting our ability to resolve the matter in your favour.


WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M NOT HOME WHEN THE COURIER ARRIVES?

Parcelforce is instructed to leave the parcel on your premises or with a neighbor if there's no response. If your parcel is marked as delivered but you haven't received it, please thoroughly search your residence, including areas like behind plant pots, inside wheelie bins, or under bushes. Additionally, inquire with your neighbors to see if they received the parcel.

If the parcel is delivered to a neighbor and you're uncertain which one, promptly contact the Parcelforce depot on the delivery day. You can find their contact details by tracking your parcel on the Parcelforce website.

Should the parcel be left at your address and subsequently stolen, we require a crime reference number (obtained by reporting the theft to your local police force) before we can offer a resolution. We strongly recommend selecting a delivery address where you or a neighbor can receive the parcel. If there's no response, the parcel will be returned to the depot or taken to your local post office.

As a final option, if the courier cannot leave your parcel with a neighbour or on your premises, it will be returned to the depot or taken to your local post office. It's your responsibility to either schedule a re-delivery for the next day or collect it from the depot. Failure to organise re-delivery may result in the fruit spoiling, for which we cannot accept any claims.

Should you require further assistance with delivery issues after contacting the courier, please make sure to call or email us by 4:30 pm on the day of delivery, allowing us sufficient time to address the problem.

The delivery fee is determined based on both the volumetric and static weight of the parcel. This is because courier fees are influenced by both the weight and dimensions of the package.
